“Veet Be the Diva” season 3 finally concluded with much fanfare and enthusiasm in the presence of elated jury and gorgeous finalists in New Delhi and was happily won by Shree Radhe Khanduja, The excited first and second runners-up were Shefali Roy and Rishita Shah respectively.
The winners were carefully chosen from 10 finalists and shortlisted after a scrutinised selection process. Post a strenuous training of two days, the 10 finalists walked on stage at an event held at The Lalit, New Delhi. The first round, as the confident contestants walked the ramp, presented an elegant display of charm, poise and determination. The Q&A round which followed brought forward the inner beauty and strength of the divas in making.
Veet went one huge step further with the very first ever social walk “Veet Walk of Confidence”. 17 beautiful women took over the streets of Delhi, and celebrated feminity and womanhood with elegance. Led by Nargis Fakhri and six gorgeous models, the 10 finalists of “Veet Be the Diva” contest made their way to Red Fort. Wearing hot pink skirts, the girls confidentially boarded the metro at Patel Chowk, stepped down at Chandni Chowk and rickshawed their way through the bylanes upto the Red Fort.
The beautiful Nargis Fakhri felt that “With the social walk, Veet is asking the girl of today to be confident about looking just as beautiful as she feels within, irrespective of where she is, to shine on & celebrate her femininity without being afraid of labels, to believe that beautiful and smart can go together. “
“Veet Be the Diva” contest in the 3rd season attracted a massive over 4000 entries across the country. Regional auditions followed in 4 cities to select 60 girls from a huge list of 200 shortlisted contestants. A voting round was then initiated on Veet India Facebook page to select the top 10. The jury members of the event were Actress Nargis Fakhri, Anindita Ghosh (Features Editor, Femina) and Nitish Kapoor(GM at RB India).
