Oriflame Pure Colour Intense Lipstick review

The purpose of my blog is not only to review the new launches in fashion & beauty segment but to lift the spirits of my readers aswell. At the end of the day, makeup is a prop to enhance our beauties but if it can help to make us feel better, why not? If a bold stroke of mascara can hide away those tears, why not? If a deep shade of red can elevate your mood, why not? Sometimes all we need is a lovely gift with little bit of makeup to bring a smile, even if temporarily. Oriflame Pure Colour Intense Lipstick review

The shades that I have are Rust Red & Warm Fuchsia.

Packaging: Small bullet tubes with an attractive black packaging. These can be easily carried along in your bag or makeup pouch.

Texture: Matte lipsticks with a staying power of 3-4 hours depending on how quickly you eat them. They have to be re-touched to get back the colour.

Just glide the lipstick over your lips and get the colour. Dab a bit for a light effect and do two quotes for a deep colour. Rusty red is in between an orange and a jet red. This is what makes it fun. It’s a neutraliser for someone who doesn’t like a jet orange or a jet red. Warm Fuchsia is a hue of purple, somewhere closer to being a mix of light pink and dark purple. It’s a warm shade for everyday wear. When you can’t decide which shade to put on, this will always be the rescuer.

The One Gel Eye Liner pencil glides smoothly and gives you a fine line at one go. For people like me who find it difficult to use gel eye liners from a pot using a brush can use this as a respite. This is just like any other eye liner pencil. It glides like a gel which is an added advantage. So if you are looking for a 2-in-1 effect, an eye liner pencil with a gel effect, pick this.

This was from my review table. Honestly, when you pick a product, you do it because you like it. There will always be a product superior and inferior. A lipstick is a lipstick at the end of the day for God’s sake. You pick one because you like the colour and it fits into your pocket. If you don’t like the colour, you don’t pick it. If the staying power is too good, the product will be expensive. Then be ready to shell out extra bucks. If you want something in budget, you have to adjust with the staying powers. It’s your choice at the end of the day.

Last but not the least, Thanks Honor 5X for being my rescue when it comes to clicking pictures. I have used a few filters to enhance the images and uploaded them in a jiffy. My phone gives me that power.
