Story of my Bespoke outift by Prathiksha Design House

This blogpost is straight from the heart! Prathiksha Design House has bowled me over! With a setup in Bangalore, they sent me a dress in Delhi based on the measurements given by me. The dress fits like a butter. It just wraps around me like love from the brand. So much precision at the first go, now that has to be really awesome!

Prathiksha Design House is a Bangalore based readymade and Bespoke Design House. Founded by Prathiksha Hegde, the brand specialises in women wear with a forte in design, detailing and fit. Prathiksha Hegde studied at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, Los Angeles. She returned to India in 2011 and has been working independently since then. She runs her store at New BEL Road, Bangalore and has styled few Sandalwod stars with her designs.

Prathiksha and I spoke just once for my Bespoke piece. I was looking for something that wasn’t very heavy and could be worn for a dinner or a light function. And I wasn’t looking for a suit or a lehanga. She understood my need and made a designer piece the way I wanted. All I had to do was give her my measurements. From fabric sourcing to designing to getting the fit right- it was her job and she did it superbly well. The raw silk choli and the crepe skirt fits like it was always made for me. The print, the color combination, the style and the design- all was left to her. Well, I always let the experts do their work. The piece was crafted in Bangalore and sent to Delhi for me. All I had to do was wear it and walk to an occasion. My life was made simpler!

• Incase, the piece doesn’t fit you, send it back. She will fix it and take care of the courier too.
• For people like me who just love to wear gorgeous outfits and do not have the time and the inclination for the backend, rely on her for stunning outfits that will be delivered direct to your home. Hassle free and so convenient. All you have to do is just wear and walk out :).
• Her clothing is very stylish and classy. She has a fine eye for detailing and embroidery.
