It was a Saturday night, I was getting ready for the biggest party in town, when the mirror asked me, “Do you think your hair is well nourished?” How often we face this question and how often we struggle to find the answer. With chaos in life and erratic lifestyle, one thing is for sure- No time for self care! With the utilisation of time to the seconds, the core of life goes out the window and what remains is the shadow of a wishful tomorrow.
Coming back to the million dollar question that my mirror asked, there is a constant that is missing in my hair and that would (not so proudly) be Nourishment. With a hectic city life and double shot cappuccinos, the hair struggles every bit to retain it’s strength and lustre. The haphazard oiling and spa rituals prove no good and the deterioration in water quality only adds to the hair woes. Since I can’t go to a far away land where the population is countable and the natural resources (read air, water, food) uncontaminated, I’ll have to find a solution right here in my lovely city.
Well, the zest to find that solution brings me one step closer to today’s Giveaway. Whose hair do you like and what’s missing in your hair?
Tell us in the comments below and 5 of you can get this fabulous Dove hamper (refer picture at the top). One of the 5 lucky winners will also be chosen to participate in the Google Hangout organised by the Femina Made By You team.
Dove is a true friend and has happily included a hair dryer along with the new Intense Repair range as part of the hamper. What more can a girl want? The new Intense Repair Range by Dove nourishes damaged hair by working at the hair’s cellular level. Regular usage yields lively and shiny hair. Looks like I have found my answer!
The Contest Giveaway opens today and will close on 18th Nov’14. Open to Indian residents, the winners will be informed via email and will be declared on this page aswell. For any query, you can mail me at t4tanya@gmail.com and I will respond at the earliest. Have fun with these online giveaways. All the Best.
Do share the contest with your friends and families and let them have a chance to win this hamper too. They will really bless you!
As for me, I love my dog’s hair the most. As dark as the darkest hour of the night, his mane surely leaves me jealous. And like I already said, nourishment is missing in my hair that makes my hair look dry and coarse. Time to kiss the hair a strong dose of intense repair.
P.S: The winners are Bhawna Varshney, Ekta Ekku, Neha Chopra, Asha Nath and Bhavya Nerchehal.

I love my niece's hair because her hair is long and shiny. I think smoothness is missing in my hair.
I love my friend's hair because her hair is very long, thick and shiny. I think thickness is missing in my hair...
I love my mother's hair as she has a beautiful shiny and healthy hair which is nourished and shows in any hair style she creates. She has a lovely mane with lesser greys and I wish to be the same when I get to her age. Btw, being a Bengali does help the hair nourishment a lot and I love it that way.
Honestly, I couldn't specifically tell a person's name. I have wavy hair, so I like hair that is soft silky, straight and raven-black in colour. I envy ppl who have such hair. lol. :-)
Thanks,
Silva Jakulin

I absolutely loved my late granny's hair. She had knee-length hair which was so beautiful and shiny. In those days, there was hardly any pollution. People ate good food, less junk, did not subject their hair to the ridiculous amounts of chemicals.
And that is what my hair and health has been missing. Nourishment and shine. Some TLC to keep my tresses in check :)

I love my baby hair the most cos a day doesn’t go by when we don’t get stares, grins, smiles and questions about Vihaan's hair. He was born with dark brown hair.People always say ‘We have to pay a lot of money for our hair to be of that color.’ Love the colour, smoothness of his hair...
