Colorbar Extra Durable Lipcolor Review

Colorbar is a brand that needs no introduction. It is known for its delightful range of make-up products. And one among the myriad range is the Colorbar Extra Durable Lipcolor. It’s a long stay lip gloss/ lip stain and thankfully it does keep up to its name.

Packaging – The lip color comes in a double sided packaging. One side is the colored gloss and the other side is the transparent top coat. It is in the form of a long sleek stick that can easily fit your makeup pouch and bag.

The colored gloss has a round lip color brush which glides perfectly. The transparent gloss has a flat brush. It can be worn on a causal outing as well as for work.

You can use the gloss without the top coat for a matte look. For a pretty matte look apply the colored gloss directly on your lips without any lip balm.

The formulation is just right and gives good coverage in a couple of strokes. Added advantage is that it blends smoothly and does not feather, bleed or break into lines. The gloss has a mild fruity fragrance.

Staying power – It stays for about 5 – 6 hours. But the sad part is that it cannot survive through a meal.

Another con of this lip color is that it is slightly difficult to remove. You need an oil based cleanser to remove it. The lip color is available in a variety of colors – pinks, nudes and corals.

Given here are the swatches of Tempted and Candid. Tempted is a dull magenta color while Candid is a pretty hazelnut nude.

A lip color that gives us the choice of matte and glossy, well what else can we girls ask for!
