ENGLISH has to be YOUR LIFESTYLE CHOICE!

Fluency in English can be achieved by anyone. Living in an environment which is surrounded by English vocabulary is essential.

Have a regular contact with the language. Watch TV in English, hear English music, read English newspapers, hire a coach and make note of my 15 points written below. You can speak fluent English through regular contact with the language. It’s easy. Just do as I say!

15 Tips to improve your fluency in English

1. MAKE ENGLISH YOUR PRIORITY

The time spent in improving your English is considered as an investment for your future. It is important to make English your priority because it is only then you can push yourself to do something about it. We all work towards our priorities. Make English your priority and work towards building your fluency.

2. STAY COMMITTED TO ENGLISH

English needs regular commitment. You cannot learn English in today and tomorrow. You have to dedicate weeks and months to build fluency. Just like any other domain, you need to be committed to your goal.

3.TREAT ENGLISH AS YOUR HOBBY

The mindset behind learning English is very important. All the writers, professors and English experts treat English as their hobby and not as something just to learn. When we prioritise English as a hobby, we tend to make a conscious effort of interacting with the language. If we treat English as something that is to be learnt out of compulsion, we lose interest soon.

4. TREAT ENGLISH LIKE YOUR NATIVE LANGUAGE

If you spend 99% of your time speaking your mother tongue, the 1% left will not be sufficient to learn English. You have to give English a significant portion of your life. It’s just like learning a new skill. You have to invest time and energy in a language to speak it fluently.

5. FIND ENGLISH

English is not just limited to your text books or your learning books. If you open your horizons you will understand that English is literally everywhere. You just have to make a conscious effort to find it, to practice it, to test your vocabulary and you will be good to go.

Find English on your favourite biscuit’s wrapper, on your railway ticket and even on your daily essential wrappers. Just have an eye for it.
