Looking for a Fine Dining- Multi cuisine restaurant in Delhi? And someplace that is not a bomb on the pocket too? And if I tell you it’s located right in the heart of the city?  It’s a triple Bonanza with the Tamra – Shangri-La’s . A perfect blend of aromas through abundance of cuisines finely laid by some of the best chefs available in the country, Tamra – Shangri-La’s is a perfect place to unwind with family and friends. The food still resonates in my mind and I had one of my best fine dining experiences over a lunch.

Here is a review of the restaurant on Key parameters.

Cuisines Offered: The restaurant offers 5 cuisines: Indian, Chinese, Thai, Japanese and European. The cooking is done live for many delicacies and there is a separate cooking station for veg and non-veg food. Ghar ka Khana is a major attraction for corporates who crave for home-cooked food when away for business tours for long.

Layout: A lot of detailing has gone into the designing and laying out of the restaurant. Tamra which means copper in Hindi is an exceptional food theatre. Taking inspiration from the era when copper vessels were the key in making a perfect meal, the restaurant borrows its earthy and rustic environment from the Indian trading markets for spices, silk, jute, leather, copper that are appreciated all over the world. Tamra has interactive kitchens for live cooking where chefs display and impress with their culinary skills.

Ambience: Decorative timber wall, copper pipe pendant lights, hanging shelves at the back of the kitchens- all display decorative culinary installations for quirky backdrops. There is a 10 seater private dining room for personal family gatherings. The counter tops at each station are lined with signature dishes from around the globe.

Chefs: Experienced chefs dish out authentic cuisines from the five interactive cooking stations. The passionate chefs elevate the entire dining experience and bring forward a high level of creativity with an array of offerings from around the globe. Homemade gelatos, a Desert Bar, Cheese, Breads, Cold Cuts and Salads take the journey to the next step for all day dining. “World cuisine on your platter concept”- from the tandoors of Central Asia to the teppanyaki grills of the Far East, from the largest selection of signature cocktails to homemade popsicles- world food comes to all the tables.
