Every year, IlluminatiX – The Media and PR cell of XIMB organises Communiqué – The Annual Media Conclave. The aim of Communiqué is to prompt discussions between the pioneers of the Media and PR world and the college students. The theme of the 7th edition of Communiqué is ‘Brand Storytelling’. The conclave is scheduled for the coming Sunday, 22nd of November. I can’t wait for the brands, students, corporate heads and the faculty to unwrap brand stories and make it big.

As with most things now, Communiqué 2020 has also gone online. The pandemic has seen many brands make it through with the help of innovative storytelling and right tone. With this concept in mind, XIMB presents this year’s theme- “Brand Storytelling.”
Margaret Atwood once said, “Storytelling can never be killed because it’s built into the human plan.” The best brands are built on great stories. Storytelling has always been at the core of marketing. These stories stay with us long and brands become household names. Be it Amul or Coca Cola, these brands have strengthened their hold with their stories and keep the viewers glued to the screens in the times of ‘skip ad.’
The 7th edition of Communiqué will see prominent speakers unfold the secrets behind some of the most mesmerising campaigns. The panel includes:

These panelists will share insights on creating a successful brand positioning with the art of storytelling. They will speak through their wisdom and experience regarding innovation, creativity and consumer behaviour. They will unfold the mantra of defining a brand through a story, something that has been at the core of marketing and communication.
