Winter has arrived with a call for a 360 degree change in the wardrobe. The light and gauzy chiffons are replaced by woolens and jackets and mufflers and scarves. Then why leave your hair behind? This winter let the hair do the talking. Flaunt your tresses and protect them in style. Think ‘outside of the box’ when it comes to a brand new style this year. Dare to add some layers, go short, rock a bang or try that new hair color. Marcus Francis, Global hairstylist TRESemmé shares some helpful tips to style your hair this winter!
Experimenting with hues
Try warmer colors to suit the Indian skin tones. Go for darkest brown, golden honey or deep red to be in sync with the cold weather. Burgundy looks great on olive and yellow skin tines. Choose a shade darker than your natural shade to complement the cold days and the woolen clothing on you.
Opt for Bangs
Heavy, straight edge or blunt bangs- choice is yours but now is the perfect time to go for bangs. They make a sweater or dark jeans look all the more stylish. Even side-swept bangs are a great change for winter months. They give a softer look and bring the focus on eyes.
Layer your hair
Give a glamorous look to your long or medium length hair by adding layers. Layering makes the hair look voluminous. For thick long hair, layering will not only break bulky texture but free you from exhaustive styling.
Romantic Curls
Create loose ringlets and pin back hair on one side behind the ear with a jewel-toned or shiny hair clip. Winter means alot of parties and marriages. Flirty romantic curls will do the trick.
Play with accessories
Add some accessories whether you tie your hair, braid it up, do a pony or let it loose. Embellish with bobby pins, elastic bands and add a chic look to you winter fashion. Carry some hair pins with you and you can easily style your hair anywhere anytime.
Braids, knots and buns
Winter season is all about looking suave with warm jackets, thick sweaters and mufflers. Pull your hair in a bun, knot or braid and compliment your bangs and clothes. Braids , knots and beautiful buns are a great way to add style to the winter look .
