Mumbai zoomed in when a bunch of beauty bloggers along with Nargis Fakhri and International Massage Expert Moses Chundi got under the same sky to experience a one of its kind event, ‘Art of Oiling’ thanks to the famous household brand Parachute. The glitter, the shine, the buzz still resonates in my mind and what is worth remembering the most are the quick DIY massage techniques to get that glow in your hair and on your face.

“Parachute Advanced Knowledge Centre’’ launched the ‘Art of Oiling’ to Rediscover the fading art with a line of ‘Do It Yourself’ (DIY) oil massage techniques that are quick, easy & fun developed for daily rejuvenation.

With an evening breeze and frequent dozes of laughter, the event started with bloggers in full attention. We all took our places to witness the enigma created by the entry of Nargis Fakhri and International Massage Expert Moses Chundi. Both of them together created a journey to rediscover the belief in the fading ‘Art of oiling’. The endeavour was to bring back this age old practice in a new quick DIY avatar to suit today’s hectic lifestyle. Nargis spoke from her heart about the benefits of oil massage techniques and demonstrated herself some very quick techniques and asked the blogger fraternity to join her and try it themselves. Moses explained the techniques step by step and we followed him with enthusiasm and interest.

Nargis Fakhri spoke in full vigour, ‘’I am very excited to be part of this initiative, that aims to rediscover the fading ‘Art of Oiling’ in India. I am a firm believer in the benefits of the holistic healing and wellness that one experiences after practicing the massage techniques in today’s erratic lifestyle. We all need a mantra to rejuvenate our overworked mind and body for which I strongly recommend that everybody should practice the signature line of DIY Massages developed by Parachute Advansed Knowledge Centre & Moses. This will help them not only to rejuvenate, but also give a host of other benefits. The Art of ‘Instant Energy’ massage is my favourite, as it helps me go through a tough day and boosts my energy instantly.’’

In the words of Moses Chundi, “Being in this field for more than 15 years, this is not only my profession but it’s my passion and an art for me. India is one of the origin for massages and oiling, but this art is slowly fading here. On the contrary, the West has caught on to this art enthusiastically. I’m glad to rediscover this art in India with a launch of signature line of massages with the expert PAKC.”

The event concluded with happy hampers of Parachute oils and reinstated faith in the ‘Art of Oiling.’
