Review: Oriflame The One Range

Today, I will be reviewing the following products from Oriflame The One Range. These products are based on my skin tone & color preference.

• The ONE Illuskin foundation (Shade Natural Beige)
• The One Illuskin Concealer (Shade Nude Beige)
• The ONE IlluSkin Powder (Shade: Medium)
• The One Eye liner Stylo (Shades: Black & Blue)
• The One Volume Blast Mascara
• The ONE Colour Impact Cream Eye Shadow (Shades: Olive Green, Deep Indigo, Intense Plum, Shimmering Steel)

Here is the review of the products.

• The One Illuskin Concealer (Shade Nude Beige)

  

  • Price INR 349/- for 10 ml.
  • Travel friendly, the product comes in a tube with a nozzle.
  • Texture: medium consistency. It doesn’t run on the skin and is neither tight & sticky.
  • Easy to rub and blend. It’s always advisable to use a concealer brush for the job.
  • Matte finish, effective for summers.
  • Light concealer, doesn’t weigh down on the skin.
  • Medium coverage for a natural look.
  • Use under a foundation for best effects.

• The ONE Illuskin foundation (Shade Natural Beige)

  

  • Price INR 799/- for 30 ml.
  • The shade matches my skin tone which is medium to fair.
  • The foundation comes in a glass bottle and is easy to pump.
  • 2 pumps are good for entire face and neck coverage.
  • The product blends into the skin and gives a uniform tone.
  • With SPF 20, the foundation is light and non-sticky.
  • The product doesn’t wear or crack down and gives coverage for upto 6 hours.
  •  Pair it up with a compact powder for a matte effect.

• The ONE IlluSkin Powder (Shade: Medium)

  

  • Price INR 649/- for 8g.
  • Nice purple case &  a compact size is easy to carry/ throw away in a handbag.
  • Texture: Smooth, settles on the face without being too powdery.
  • Doesn’t hide flaws but evens the skin tone and gives a matte finish.
  • Requires touch ups depending upon skin type and weather.
  • The powder can be used stand alone without the concealer or the foundation.

• The One Eye liner Stylo (Shades: Black & Blue)

  

  • Price INR 429/- for 0.8ml.
  • Excellent, smudge free and shiny.
  • Stays for long with no need for touch ups.
  • Easy to apply and remove.
  • The applicator tip glides smoothly on the eyes for a precise coverage. The felt tip delivers a smooth line without breaking or smudging.
  • Jet black and apt for girls who find it difficult to use liquid liners. The pigments deliver a rich color.
  • Easy to carry along.
  • Create fine lines, bold lines, winged looks. Do whatever you want.
  • Dries quickly and gives a well defined look.
  • Both the colors- black and blue have a strong color residue.

  • As the name, be ready for ultra volume all the time.
  • The lash grabbing brush ensures super separation and volume on the lashes.
  • The mascara coats the lashes and separates them well.
  • The shape of the brush results in easy application on the lashes. Each lash is adequately quoted to give the desired effect.
  • Gives depth and makes the eyes look bigger.

• The ONE Colour Impact Cream Eye Shadow (Shades: Olive Green, Deep Indigo, Intense Plum, Shimmering Steel)

  • The cream based eye shadows have a divine feel as compared to the usual powder based eye shadows.
  • The lush effect stays for upto 6-7 hours.
  • Shade Olive green: Dark & Divine like deep olives.
  • Shade Intense Plum: Deep shade of intense plum.
  • Shade Shimmering Steel: One shade that works with almost every outfit and shouts out the glamour.
  • Shade Deep Indigo: Exotic hue for bright eyes. The shade that brings out the star in you.
  • The shades do not smudge and can be easily applied with the help of fingertips or an eye shadow applicator.
  • Deep color intensity with highly pigment colors.
  • The eye shadows come in a tiny transparent jar and the shades are easily seen through the jar.
  • Texture is creamy and is superb for day wear. For night time, you may require to mix and merge a stronger color or further highlight it.
