We all know the health benefits of fruits. Thus, it is highly recommended that we include fruits in our diet. But do you know that fruits are also a great ingredient for our skin. I have seen a large number of people who do not like papaya, but it is a like a magic fruit that can do wonders for your skin. Read on to know some easy and beneficial papaya fruit packs.
Papaya is rich in anti-oxidants and has a special enzyme called papain. It is this enzyme that helps clear dead skin cells and give a soft supple skin. Also papaya is a well-known de-tanning agent.
How to make the skin glow? Say goodbye to dull and lifeless skin with some of these papaya face packs that you can easily make at home and pamper yourself.
1. Mash it up
One of the easiest papaya face packs – Mash a ripe papaya and apply all over your face and neck. Let it remain for 10 – 15 minutes and then wash off with cool water. Simple yet effective – apply once a week to get radiantly glowing skin.
2. Be Raw
Grate some raw papaya and apply on your face. Allow it to dry for 15 – 20 minutes and then wash off with water.
Raw papaya is beneficial in controlling acne and helps unclogs blocked skin pores.
3. Papaya and Lemon cocktail
Take a few pieces of ripe papaya in a bowl and add to it 2 tbsp. honey and 1 tbsp. lemon juice. Mix all the ingredients into a fine paste and apply evenly on your face. Let it dry for 15 minutes. Wash off with cool water.
It is very effective in skin lightening and hydrating.
4. Multani Mitti Magic
Fuller’s Earth or Multani Mitti as it is popularly known as is another exceptional ingredient for your skin. And the amalgamation of multani mitti and papaya is exemplary.
Take a few pieces of papaya in a bowl. Add 1 tbsp. multani mitti and honey and make a fine paste. Apply it on clean face and allow it to dry for 15 – 20 minutes. Wash off with water. This pack is very beneficial for oily skin.
5. Papaya Shake
Mash some ripe papaya pieces. Add to it 2 tbsp. raw milk and 1 tbsp. honey. Make a fine paste and apply evenly on your face. Let it dry for 20 minutes. Wash off with cool water. The combined goodness of milk and honey acts a great moisturiser for your skin.
