Shiny lips, yes please! You’ve come to the right post.
It’s raining outside as I write this post. May is pretty hot in Delhi. It’s as if the city is on fire. I’m a fan of summers but May & June leave me gasping for cooler spaces. Such is life, isn’t it? We want the opposite of what we get, mostly. But here are two products that I totally want because they do the job properly and care at the same time. Meet my Deyga lip ninjas today.
Deyga makes natural cosmetics. It’s a homegrown brand based out of Tamil Nadu. I recently reviewed their Anti acne kit which has 5 products. If you are prone to acne, pimples & breakouts, read the Deyga Anti-Acne Kit Review and order the kit right away.
Deyga Lip Scrub & Lip Balm Review
1.Deyga Strawberry Lip Scrub
First come first, I haven’t really used lip scrubs so I was pretty excited to see this one. I have chapped lips that last throughout the year. I’m a heavy lipstick user (read love wearing lipsticks) so chapped lips is a default byproduct. I use the toothbrush technique to get rid of my chapped lips and it works but it doesn’t leave the lips soft. This concern has been taken care by Deyga strawberry lip scrub.

Deyga strawberry lip scrub comes in a tin and you love it the minute you open the tin. The strawberry flavour makes you eat it. You get reminded of your favourite strawberry chewing gums. The soft pink colour is a delight to see.
It has organic shea butter, almond oil, granulated sugar, avocado oil, Vit E and strawberry essential oil. It gently exfoliates dry and dead skin while nourishing at the same time. It gives a voluminising effect to the lips.
I use it twice a week for soft and plump lips. I’m pretty happy with the result. I love the fact that the scrub exfoliates and also keeps the lips moisturised. It also takes off lipstick residues to reveal lighter lips. The lip scrub has a lot of oils which tend to leak so be cautious while storing it.

The strawberry smell is just amazing.

2.Deyga Beetroot lip balm
This is my companion in this lockdown time. Unless I have a Zoom meeting or I’m making videos for my Instagram page, I do not put lipsticks.
You must check and follow my Instagram account. I talk about mental health there. I help people think and live better.
Coming back to the Deyga Beetroot lip balm, it is pureness packed in a small tin. It has the goodness of almond oil, jojoba oil, shea butter, avocado oil, beeswax and beetroot extract. It has soften my lips and even healed cuts due to dryness. I apply it as frequently as required.
The lip balm has a beetroot tinge but it doesn’t leave any colour on the lips. You will see your original lip colour with a sheen after applying the lip balm. You can use your lipstick over it.
I love the fact that it is all natural. It nourishes the lips and makes them soft and smooth.
Price: Rs 290/-
You can buy the products individually or you can buy the combo of these 2 products as well.
Here is the link to buy the combo. I’d suggest buy the combo to get soft and healthy lips. It’s a pink combo that works together to nourish and hydrate lips. The luscious combination is worth a try.
That’s it from my side for the time being. I hope you liked the review. Thanks Deyga for sending the products. I try and give honest opinions. Next in line is their foot care kit. I’ll be coming soon with its review.
Till then, stay indoors, stay safe and take very good care of yourself.
