  1. My best way to do a spa at home is “dim the lights and burn a candle or some aroma sticks, as I have dry hair I always choose lavender oil to massage my hair and after indulging in a soothing spa experience at the comfort of my home, I wash my hair with a mild shampoo that suits my hair type and hair condition”.

  2. My spa therpy at home is …. using warm water adding a lots oh rose water and rose petals … firstly using coconut oil and massage full body like easier way, then rub with brown sugar and wash with warm water mixed with rose petals … any moisture with lots of body butter … If u pampring yourself like this u feel very restless and fresh, aromatic and tension free …
lovely giveway hope I win 🙂

  3. My spa therapy at home includes pampering of my skin and hair. At first I decorate my room with aromated candles and rose petals.

Then I indulge in pampering of my sin.I exfoliate my skin gently with natural papaya enzymes, to give it a natural glow.

    1. At first I wash face thoroughly.
    2. Then I bring large pot of water to boil.
    3. While water is heating, I mash 1/2 of a papaya into a paste.
    4. Then I move pot to table and place face over steam, holding a bath towel over my head. Adjust to be sure skin is at a comfortable temperature.
    5. Steam face for 5-8 minutes.
    6. Apply papaya mixture, carefully avoiding the eye area.
    7. Lie down and relax for 5-10 minutes.
    8. When I feel fully rejuvenated, I rinse my face and apply moisturizer for a radiant complexion.

    Next, I pamper my hair.

    1. First I heat half a cup of extra virgin olive oil and let it cool. When the oil is still slightly warm, apply on scalp and hair. Overall oil massage of the scalp with fingertips with gentle circular motions. I make sure that I am not pulling my hair while massaging, as it can cause hair loss.

    2. Next, I soak a clean towel into a bucket of warm water. Squeeze the towel to remove water. Wrap a warm towel to the head, so the hair is covered by a towel. Leave the towel wrapped around my head for 10 to 15 minutes. This will help the oil get into the hair shaft.

    3. After applying steam to the hair, the next step is to wash the hair with shampoo thoroughly. I choose a shampoo that suits my hair type and texture. Rinse hair with warm water.

    4. Wipe off excess water in the hair. Make sure that I do not rub my hair with a towel as it can make the hair rough up the cuticle and contribute to frizziness.

    5. Then I take a few deep conditioner and apply it on my hair, use a wide toothed comb. I use a natural conditioner that suits my hair type. With deep conditioning, I can protect my hair from frizziness. Leave the conditioner on my hair for 15 to 20 minutes.

    5. Then I rinse my hair to remove hair conditioner. I pat with a towel to dry and remove the water on the hair. Next, I comb the hair using a wide-toothed comb. Apply a hair mask to each section of hair. Make sure that every hair is coated with a hair mask. Then I wrap my head with a warm towel for 10 to 15 minutes and then wash it off thoroughly with warm water.

In this way, I pamper my skin and hair at home.

    Thanks for the lovely Giveaway.

  4. The first thought that strikes my mind when noticing the word SPA is it’s “ME TIME” session for myself. I would love to unwind myself and for that the most important element is to free myself from all phone calls, sms , whats app , social media and other visitors. Also to free myself from daily chores and family for a while to relax completely. Create the right ambiance with help of aromatic candles, setting all my scrub, moisturizer, face pack essential oils, towel and other things on place. Also to turn on a soothing music and preparing a bowl of fruit salad.

To start with i will prefer a head therapy and i will treat my hair roots with warm oil which is a mixture of almond oil and jasmine oil. Then cover my head with a hot towel for 20 minutes and steam it to nourish my scalp. while steaming is getting done, i like to scrub my face followed by facial massage for 5-10 mins. Applying a face pack and eye pack and relax totally. the music and scented air will be a bliss for my senses.

After that will wash my head with a mild shampoo and conditioning them to make them smoother. And i trust upon dove therapy to make my days.
Washing the face as face pack and eye pack dries and apply a good nourishment moisturizer will be the next step.
I like to apply a body scrub and exfoliate to remove tanning and dead skin. after scrubbing i like to soak my body in bath tub which is filled with neem leaves water and add a few drops of fragrant oil to double the joy.
Massage your hands. arms and body with almond oil that is a super effective treatment in itself.
Massages increase the blood circulation. The next step should be shower and applying moisturizer to get that supple and healthy skin. Yes !!
It’s so much fun and joy to have a luxurious bathing session.

After all the therapy and process, sit in calm and peace to enjoy the blissful environment. Sip up a juice and enjoy your salad. Read some interesting book or indulge in the mind balancing music. Get your nails done or may be just apply a beautiful nail art.

just breathe in and out to relax and then later head into your world of busy days with a new you 🙂

I am sure you would love this beautiful spa experience. i sincerely hope that it helps !
    Thankyou!!!

  5. MY BEST WAY FOR SPA AT HOME
    FOR FACE-
1)Cleanse your face with your usual cleansing lotion. Even good old soap and warm water will do.
2)Steam your face over a boiling pan of water for 2 to 3 minutes, to open out pores.
    3) Make my own scrub. Mix breakfast oats with milk to a paste-like consistency and rub over your face for 5 to 10 minutes.
4)Make my own face pack: Mix a tablespoon of gram flour with a teaspoon of honey, fresh ground turmeric and 10 ml of milk and apply for dry skin. For oily skin, skip the milk and use rose water instead. Leave on till dry and then rinse
    FOR HAIR –
Warm half a bowl of coconut or olive oil. Add the juice of half a lemon if you have very oily hair . Massage well into roots, comb out and wrap a hot towel around your head for 10 minutes.

Remove towel and apply a hair pack. Henna powder mixed with black tea and a teaspoon of ground soaked fenugreek (methi) seeds is great for shine and volume and works for all hair types. To add strength to brittle hair, use egg white with fenugreek paste instead. The egg protein repairs the damaged hair shaft.

Shampoo after 20 minutes. You could rinse your hair with half a glass of beer after the shampoo — it adds instant shine and bounce to your tresses.
IN END A CUP OF GREEN TEA IS MUST SO THAT BODY REJUVINATE FROM INSIDE TOO .

  6. I love the cooler temperature of Autumn, but only my skin gets dry easily, also my hair. Especially with the area towards the ends of my hair. It sometimes gets so dry and fuzzy, which is not too much fun to deal with. That makes me feel uncomfortable, so i follow a simple routine.

    * Homemade Hot Oil Hair spa Treatment *

You can use a single type of oil, or a blend of a few, depending on your needs. Here are some basics oil you can choose from and their benefits.

Olive Oil: It conditions hair and improves elasticity.
Jojoba Oil: It’s best for oily hair. The jojoba oil is like our own natural skin and hair oils. It will leave your hair soft and light, without weighing it down.
Avocado Oil: It is the the most moisturizing oils. Great for dry and frizzy hair.
Almond Oil: It relieves dry scalp, controls hair loss and smooth cuticle of strands
Rosemary Oil: It relieves dry scalp, stimulates follicles and slows premature hair loss.
Coconut Oil: It adds shines and soften your hair! Coconut oil is great for all hair types. It also helps in reduce dandruff.
Sesame Oil: It is great for all hair type and adds shines to your hair. It also helps slow down hair loss, great to treat thinning hair.

Here’s how I prepare my Hot Oil Hair Treatment
. In a medium saucepan, heat a few inches of water on high until boiling. Then, reduce to low heat and keep water on a simmer. Measure* and place all ingredients (essential oils iuse olive oil, jojoba and almond oil) in a heat proof bowl and place over the pot of simmering water. Let the oil heat up slowly and infuse for 30 minutes.after 30 minutes, remove oil from heat let it cool slightly until it’s not too hot to handle but still very warm to the touch.Dip your fingertips into the oil and gently massage the oil from scalp to end. When all the oil is used, cover the hair with a shower cap. At this point, you can also add a damp and hot towel over the shower cap for better result. Leave it on for 30 minutes.

Then, shampoo your hair. I usually shampoo twice after this oil treatment. Repeat every 2 to 4 weeks.

ANOTHER THING THAT I LOVE TO DO IS
Mix 1/2 cup flat beer (pour beer into a container and let it sit out for a couple of hours ) with 1 tsp OLIVE oil and a raw egg. Apply to clean, damp hair, let sit for 15 minutes, then rinse with cool water.
THIS ADDS SHINE TO LIMP HAIR.

    THATS IT!!

  7. 1. Find about 10 smooth oval shaped stones in your yard or a stream. If not found in your yard, buy some at your local hardware or craft store. Basalt rock is considered the best for this treatment, granite is second-best.

    2. Clean each of the rocks, use a file to knock down any sharp and rough parts.

    3. Place all the rocks in a large zip-lock bag.

    4. Close the bag and place in a sink full of hot water.

    5. Open the bag and let enough of the hot water in to cover all the rocks.

    6. Remove the rocks from the bag and place them on your back.

    7. Leave on until rock gets cold.

    8. Repeat for satisfaction

  12. Well I am gonna share a 3 steps plan to just unwind ! 🙂
    1. Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy has been proven to invigorate, calm, and relieve stress. It also stimulates your immune system, keeping you runny-nose-free this cold season. Aromatherapy comes in many forms, from gels to candles to scrubs. For a quick fix, try Bliss Hot Salt Scrub to reap the benefits.

    2. No need to splurge on an entire dimmer system for your home. If you’re looking to just kick back and relax for the evening, a few candles are the best — and cheapest —stress buster on the market. To relax, opt for lavender, sandalwood, as they can lower your blood pressure and set you in instant chill-pill mode.

    3. Bubble Bath

Is there anything more relaxing than a bubble bath? Whip up your own bubble bath recipe for a relaxing affair.

To do this, mix 3/4 bottle of natural dish soap in the tub with the food coloring of your choice. Add oils like lavender one drop at a time until you get the desired scent. Top off with rose petals, kick back, and relax!

    🙂

  13. My way of doing spa at home-
to me SPA is something very relaxing , refreshing and a holistic indulgence
1.GETTING READY- The atmosphere really matters- dim lights , scented candles and really soft music-these are must-haves to set on the mood

    3. BODY-I apply light body oil. Nothing else for the time-being
4.FACE- I use normal cold cream along with warm water and apply on my face. Then I finish it off with a mild scrub-cum-face-wash .

5.FINALLY- I wash my hair with a hydrating shampoo, and have a refreshing bath using a soft body-wash gel.THe final wash or rinse comprises of warm water combined with a few drops of lavender oil. Finally i apply scented moisturising lotion…………….this is my way of SPA-AT-HOME……….

  14. Spa is necessary for good hair.I love my hair and so i do spa in my home only.
Spa is really refreshing for me and it make me energetic.
First I message my head with almond oil for 15 minutes with my finger tips, then wash my hair with lukewarm water

  16. I am totally an essential oil and perfume person!

I make my aroma candles at home!!
What I would describe as my spa day is a nice hair massage with my special oil , which has hibiscus flowers boiled in coconut oil! and then I take steam on my face with a mixture of water and vitamin E and simple water steam slowly on scalp.Followed by a shampoo with dove damage repair and conditioner.

Then I put a few drops of lavender oil on the comb and comb through my hair when my hair is almost dry!
and while taking bath my favorite coffee body scrub!

and my routine care for my hands and feet ! This is what my weekly spa day is like!!

  17. Always take out some quality time and give yourself all the pampering you need ‘coz you desrve it! These are some simple steps for a divine hair spa experience at home!
    1) Prepare a hair mask of egg and coconut oil and apply it to your hair.
    2) Soak a towel in warm water and wrap it around your hair and relax for half an hour.
    3) Finally shampoo and condition your hair.
Follow this twice a month and always use a wide-toothed comb to avoid breakage of hair.

  18. Okay.. Body spa can’t be done easily at home.. coz you will for sure need one person to help you in. And I find it a little awkward.
So I am going to share about my home hair spa.
I feel relaxed after a hectic week and I am in love with it.

Has dove customized this hamper for me??.. <3
    lol
    MY HOME HAIR SPA IDEA:
Every Sunday(IN winters) is my spa day.. And really I want a proper environment and time. Spa is useless if you are not feeling relaxed after it.
    1. I just dim lights of the room and spray my favourite room freshner.
    2. Then I sit on a chair and request my grand maa to oil my hairs. She is the best when comes to hair massage, I don't know what magic she has in Her hands <3 I just love it.
I prefer a mix of olive, coconut oil and few drops of badam rogan in winters. And trust me the results are always magical.
    3. Then I steam my hair with a steamer or for about 10 mins. I usually add few drops of lavender oil in steamer.
    4. Then I relax for 2 hours to let hairs absorb the oil. In the mean time I listen to my favourite songs or read a magazine or cook something delicious.
    4. Then after 2 hours I wash my hairs with anti-dandruff shampoo and warm water. Conditioning, a most important step after it.
    5. Then I apply hair mask.
Hair mask- 1 egg yolk, 2 spoons of yogurt and honey each.
Then cover it with a shower cap and let it rest for 1 hour.

Then I rinse off and flaunt my beautiful, silky and smooth hairs.

  19. I AM REALLY EYEING UPON THIS HAMPER.. IT WILL FOR SURE TAKE MY SPA ON ANOTHER LEVEL.. HOPE I CAN NEXT TIME PAMPER MY TRESSES WITH IT.. <3

  20. *Take a almond oil
    *Deep conditioner (any brand)
    *shampoo (any brand)
    *wide comb
    *towel
    Hair spa at home :-
Heat 1 half small cup almond oil wait for stitly cool. When the oul is still minimum warm then apply on the head and hair. Overall massage with oil on the scalp with hand or a finger tips like a circulr motion. And not stretch or pulling your hair during massaging because this activitie can be hair loss.
THEN soak the towel in a small bucket or a tub with warm water. And wrap a towel to the head. Leave the towel around 10 to 15 min. This activitie causes for shaft the oil in the hair.
wash the hair with shampoo mixed and rub gently. Then use conditioner on the tip of the hair. Please not rub your hair with for drying. Because they make rough, frizzy and splittings .
The last step comb your hair with wide comb. Use dry for drying the hair.

Without spa my hair look so frezzy, wavy and rough.
    after pampering my hair using this spa therapy … my hair look so shiny, smooth and lovly. :*;

  21. The best way to make yourself feel special, is to have a spa. And the best part is its beneficial for your mind as well as skin.
My spa therapy begins with oil massage. Then keeping it oiled for a while. Because after all your hair too needs some nourishment. Approximately after an hour or two i prefer a hot bath where i wash my hair with natural shampoo. I then pat them dry gently and after that i apply hair conditioner.
Overall body spa is done best by having a hot water bath. Post a bath essential oils works like a wonder to your skin,it makes you glow while nourishing your skin.

  22. Before i tell you guys about my hair spa routine, let me tell you about my hair type.
I have chemically treated hair and now they are extremely dry and frizzy. I have oily scalp with dandruff. 🙁
    My hair spa routine:
First is to moisturize hair and scalp. For that i mix, vitamin e capsules with almond oil and olive oil. I then apply this oil on my scalp and ends completely and keep it for 2-3 hours.
After 3 hours, i give steam to my hairs. I use a hot towel for steaming as i don’t have a head steamer. I repeat this steaming step 4 times for proper steaming.
Next and final step is to apply hair mask. As i have chemical treated hair, i prefer a natural and home made mask only… i avoid chemicals now.
I make hair mask by taking 1 egg, 3-3 tbsp curd, lemon juice, 2 tbsp honey and 2 vitamin e capsule. I keep this mixture for 2 hours and then wash with cold water and skip conditioning my hair. 🙂

completed all the steps. hope to win. 🙂

  23. The first step is to oil and massage my hair and scalp with almond oil and rosemary oil. It nourishes hair, controls hairfall and adds shine and bounce to the hair. Next step is to lightly steam your hair using a hot towel. Wrap the hair in the hot towel for 10-15 minutes. Next, I apply curd as a hair pack. I leave it on for 15 minutes and rinse it out with water before I shampoo. Finally, I shampoo and condition my hair and towel dry it. I let it air dry and the end result is healthy looking shiny hair.

  24. Today it isn’t easy to follow a meticulous spa routine often even at home!! I club mine with a little “mommy massage theraphy” which always works wonders, age no bar..
    1. Get COMFY
     — Get into your fluffiest robe and slippers, or slide on a pair of sweat pants or pj’s. After all, the evening is all about comfort, not constriction.:p

    2.FACE SPA SCRUB
    -1 tbsp oatmeal, finely ground
    -1 tbsp plain yogurt
    -A few drops of honey
Mix yogurt and oatmeal in a bowl. Add in the honey. Apply all over your face and neck. Leave it on for 10 minutes, then rinse off with several splashes of warm water. Follow with a warm washcloth. Apply aloevera gel or moisturizing cream afterwards.

    3.HOT HAIR SPA TREATMENT
1/2 cup of dried rosemary leaves
    1/2 cup olive oil
Combine oil and rosemary in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until warm. Remove from heat and strain, to remove leaves from oil. Coat scalp and ends of hair with hot oil, then wrap and cover with towel to retain heat. Leave on 15 minutes. Wash.

That’s about it.. This simple trio once or twice a month and ul be glowing like a to be bride 😉
    P. S-just don’t forget the mommy secret I mentionede and your good to go! 😀

  25. I thoroughly clean my face with Garnier’s Cleansing Milk.

Then I boil water. And drape a cloth over my head and steam my face. Really helps to open up clogged pores.

Then I apply my home made face scrub.
Making my home made face scrub.. I blend aloe vera, yoghurt, honey, oatmeal, lemon juice and besan. Phew! Keep it for 15 minutes and wipe it with cotton balls.

I then use a toner and a face moisturiser that consists of SPF.

I Blow dry my body lotion so that it gets hot. After having an aromatic candle lit bath with rose water and bath salts, a hot lotion feels like heaven.

I make sure that I wipe my face with rose water every 2 hours in a day. Helps me to get rid of the pollution.

For my legs I use honey, coconut milk and coconut oil or butter.
I apply these on my tired legs and then put my feet in a bucket of water to get rid of all the dirt.
With a foot scrubber, scrub of the dirt. I then clip and file my toe nails and finally use a buffer for the shine 🙂

And yes, SOOTHING MUSIC is a MUST when I pamper myself!

I don’t want to fake it saying I make my own lip scrub and all. But what I do is, I take a damp cloth and rub it on my lips and then use the good old vaseline! Day and night!

For my hands, I rub lemons on my hands! Smoothes it instantly! I make sure my nails are filed!

    Voila!

  27. Hair spa at home does not require anything much expensive or exclusive. Most of the products you need for a hair spa are available in your kitchen only. There are 5 steps of a homemade hair spa which includes- massaging, steaming, washing, conditioning and applying hair mask.Things you need for hair spa: Hair oil of your choice, conditioner (homemade or readymade), hair mask
Step 1: Massage your scalp This is the first step to start a hair treatment at home. Massage your head with any hair nourishing oil for 15-20 minutes. You can use olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil or sesame oil. The best is to mix equal parts of all of them and use it. Massage softly with your fingertips. It increases blood circulation and helps increase hair growth. Step 2: Steam warm hair Dip a towel or cotton cloth in warm water and squeeze it to remove excess water. Wrap this towel around your head covering all your oiled hair. It helps oil penetrate deep inside the scalp and nourishes the hair. This step takes at least 15 to 20 minutes. Step 3: Wash your hair Now wash your hair with a mild shampoo. Use cold or lukewarm water to wash your hair. Hot water bath causes dandruff, itchy and dry scalp, and weakens hair roots. Step 4: Apply conditioner After shampooing, apply conditioner on your hair. You can either use homemade conditioner or any market product that suits your hair. For homemade conditioner, boil tea leaves in water and add lemon juice to it. Use this concoction as a conditioner after shampoo. Step 5: Apply a hair mask This last step provides all required nourishment to your hair. You can buy a hair mask from the market or make it at home as per your needs and the things available at home. There are different homemade hair masks that you can try for the treatment. Mix one or two eggs according to your hair length with some coconut oil. And apply it as hair mask. Cover the hair with a warm towel for minimum 20 minutes and then wash off with a mild shampoo. Mash a ripe banana, and mix with olive oil, egg, honey, milk. Blend and apply on your hair. Leave it for 20 minutes and wash off. A mixture of banana, honey, yogurt and olive oil also does wonders to your hair. You can also apply this homemade hair mask.

  28. My spa treatment at home is:

    * Relaxing by listening to some soothing music, while my body soaks up all the goodness of the oils…
    * Having a steam bath n feeling as fresh as a flower 🙂

  29. yayy.. lovely hamper.. beautiful.. A winter treat..
    Perfect for hair spa.
    My home hair spa>>>

I don’t know why I love massaging and oiling my hairs in a #BathTub May be because I can save time.

On weekends I love spending my 1 hour in my bath tub filled with warm Water and some rose petals.
    I just <3 it 🙂
And in that time I love indulging in a scalp massage.
~ I USE 2Tspn OF COCONUT DEEP CONDITIONING OIL
~ 1 Tspn OF OLIVE OIL
~ 5 DROPS OF BADAM ROGAN
1.Mix them and apply gently focusing roots with finger tips till the ends..
2.After applying oil all over, I give myself a soothing massage.
3.Cover my hairs with a hot towel so that steam can do wonders.
4.Finish up bathing and then I apply the paste of METHI DANA(soaked over night and then grind to make paste).
    5. Cover up with a shower cap and try not to let the paste dry.
    6. The paste is sticky and a lil messy to rinse off. Rinse thoroughly with warm Water and shampoo.
    7. I don't find any need to use conditioner because the paste itself is tremendous. You'll feel the difference while washing.
Hairs will be smooth, shiny, bouncy And one thing very important this HAIR MASK IS ALSO USED FOR DANDRUFF. Hence, it is an all – rounder

  30. Since this hamper is for hair spa i would majorly talk about my hair spa at home. though i do foot spa, body spa etc all at home but this one is specially nuske for hair spa. Hope u like it:)i believe in natural products atleast at home because once in a while i go to salon and they use chemicals. So at home i try the various natural products for hair spa.

    A. In this procedure i use

    1. A mixture of oils like castor, olive, almond, coconut, and ghee for the oil treatment.
    2. A mixture of beetroot juice without dilution and a concentration tea decoction for conditioning
    3. Last but the main treatment which is a mask made of bananas, eggs, honey and milk. Also you can also add mayo if u like.
    4. any mild shampoo like nyle or fiama di wills

Now let’s see the procedure in detail
Normally all spas use 4 steps of the treatment using various products and I followed the same only with natural ingredients
Now the first procedure of oiling.

I mixed all the oils mentioned above and heated them to mix them better. You might be wondering about ghee but let me tell you that’s the most effective smoothening ingredient I ever used and keeps my hair smooth and silky which ever shampoo I use
So heat the mixture and make it warm enough to touch without burning. I take the oil with my fingers and distributed evenly into my hair strands concentrating on the scalp and massaging. My mom/maid help me in this a lot. After half an hour I used the shampoo. Dry your hair under sun if you can or want to.

    The next procedure is conditioning.

Grate a beetroot and squeeze to get juice and add tea decoction and mix well. You can use hibiscus flower powder as a base to hold it in your hair. I used banjaras hibiscus powder. This conditioner is extremely rich in iron, Vit A and all major vitamin. The minerals from beetroot, which also gives a beautiful maroon tinge and tea intensifies the colour of your hair and conditions it. Wait for half an hour and rinse only with warm water (no shampoo).

The next and final procedure is the mask

Get some ripe bananas. (you know how they get black? the blacker the better) One is enough if you have more than just shoulder length hair, two if you have longer hair. And add quarter cup of milk, 3 table-spoons of honey and egg white from 2 eggs, and blend them to get a fine paste. Put them in a mixer grinder to get a fine paste. You can add coconut oil also. Use only the pure coconut oil as the market ones have bleach in them to get the clear colour, and turn your hair grey sooner than you would like.

I add coconut oil and the mask smelt like a coconut chocolate …yummy. Banana is rich in vitamins and is a great hair softener and treats damaged hair due to environmental conditions and good for splits. Milk – semi straightens hair and provides protein, eggs as well have the same effect as milk while honey cleanses, deodorizes and conditions the hair. Apply the mask all over your hair and cover with a shower cap, wait for half an hour and rinse and shampoo to get the oil out. The banana may require extra water to get it out. Dry your hair.

I followed this procedure meticulously and you would not believe the effects. My hair was silky-smooth and didn’t get frizzy at all for 4 days straight even though I didn’t shampoo again. The colour was a rich burgundy and shone like a mirror and the shine stayed for 7 days almost. My curls were bouncy but in control and extremely soft to touch. My splits are less too. The mask is one of the best homemade masks I used.

I would recommend this hair spa/conditioning procedure to every woman who wants beautiful hair without the expense of a parlour on their pockets and as it’s completely natural no side effects! Please try this and let me know girls. Have a great day.

  31. To Boosting the beauty of our tresses, all we need a quality time to indulge in hair spa once in a 2 weeks time that totally reinvent the beauty of flowing smoothing manes. For that i feel to set the right atmosphere by dimming the lights, play my soothing music and also to spray a nice scent.

It will fill my senses with peace and allow me to feel in peace and heaven.
Then my High 5 formula to treat my hairs would be as massaging, steaming, washing and applying hair mask 🙂

Products needed- Nourishing oils like almond, olive, jasmine or any other. Towel, Shampoo, Conditioner, Hair mask.

Start it with a warm oil head massage to increase blood circulation. i mix a few oils and then use them to massage my scalp and hair roots. Dove Elixir is the best solution for that.

Wrap a hot towel around your head to steam the hairs for 20 minutes.

Wash your hairs with a best suited shampoo and apply Conditioner on hair length and allow it to smooth and soften your hairs then wash it with cold or lukewarm water.

After that nourish your hairs with a hair mask, my idea is to use a home made mask of eggs and coconut oil which nourishes my hairs nicely. Covering hairs with steamed towel again for 15 minutes and wash off.

During the process , enjoy the beautiful music and scent while the aroma of oils, shampoo will also allow you to indulge in beauty. 35. Hey Tanya My spa therapy at home is

    1) Aromatherapy
Since it has been trused to refresh, calm, and ease pressure. It also excite your immune system, keeping you runny nose free. Aromatherapy comes in many forms, from gels to candles to scrubs. For a quick fix, try Bliss Hot Salt Scrub to obtain the benefits.
    2) Mood Lighting
No need to indulge on an entire dimmer method for your home. If you are looking to spice things up or just kick back and calm down for the evening, a few candles are the most excellent and cheapest stress buster on the market.
    3) Bubble Bath
    Bubble Bath is more calming
    4) Deep Conditioning Treatment
Avocado and Coconut Oil Conditioning Mask: Mix 2 teaspoons coconut oil with 1/2 mashed-up avocado. Add 1/4 cup coconut milk and let sit in hair for 15-20 minutes. Take turns rinsing each other’s hair out
    5) Fruit Facial
Fruit is the best element for your skin. The vitamins and minerals help clear up blemishes and leave you mood soft and smooth. Each fruit has its own payback, but for a quickie facial, grab a banana from your fruit basket and try this recipe:
Banana and Honey Facial: Mash a ripe, medium-sized banana and mix with 2 tablespoons honey. For a thicker consistency, add 2 tablespoons plain yogurt. Apply to your face and neck for 10 to 15 minutes and rinse off.
    6) Foot Soak
Your feet are regularly the busiest part of your body during the day, so it’s significant to take care of them right at night. Make a foot soak for two with Bath & Body Works’ Tranquil Mint Foot Soak. It will relieve fatigue and leave your piggies smelling nice and feeling even better. Who knows: They may even be up for a game of footsies after.

    7) Manicure /Pedicure
Prepare your nails. Remove previous polish by rubbing a Q-tip or cotton ball dipped in low-acetone remover on your nails. Dip your hands/feet one at a time in warm, soapy water, dry thoroughly with a soft towel. Then, put some sugar or salt in a dish and pour on some olive oil. Massage the scrub into your hands/feet, rinse than dry. If you want, you can rub extra oil (without sugar) into cuticles.

Apply a base coat. You don’t have to, but it is recommended as it helps the staying power of the manicure. Use a cuticle remover to push back your cuticles.

Apply polish. Do the first coat, and when it dries, then the second coat.
The best method for painting nails is painting a stripe down the middle and then down each side.

Dip a Q-tip in remover and rub any stray polish that ends up on your fingers.

Apply top-coat. Make sure the polish is completely dry before you do so. If you want to add a sheer color or sparkle polish over the base polish, do so under the top-coat.

Allow your nails to dry. If doing a pedicure, wear toe spacers or pedicure sandals.

    8) Massage Oils
Massages are great, but they are even well again when the masseur is your guy! For a tranquil massage, go with Bath & Body Works’ Jasmine Vanilla Massage Oil. For fun for two, try Lush’s Wiccy Magic Muscle Bar in the shower. You’ll loosen up your sore muscles and have fun doing it!

    9) Red Wine
Some say an apple a day keeps the doctor away, and now it looks like red wine will do the trick too! Studies have confirmed that having a glass of vine in moderation releases antioxidants and protects your arteries and heart from damage.

    10) Exfoliating Scrub
There are tons of exfoliating scrubs out there, but not all may leave you smelling and feeling the way you both want to. To solve this, make your own scrub using Epsom salts. Fill half a medium-sized jar with Epsom salts and the other half with olive oil. Add a few drops of scented oil, like jasmine or sandalwood, and voilà!

    11) Scalp Massage

Massages with shouldn’t stop at your neck. It’s important to pamper your brain too! Starting at the hairline, firmly tap the back of his head, down to the shoulder blades. Work your way back up to the hairline by moving two fingers in a fast, circular motion. Then, rake your fingers over the entire head (careful not to pull any hair!) up to the forehead. Work your way back to the nape of the neck with small, fast circles starting at the crown. Use Dove Elixir Lavender and Olive Oil it’s the best for massaging your scalp

    Thank you

  36. My wonderful day when I do My Home Spa ..
Being with a toddler baby, N looking after my whole family, is a hectic job.. So whenever I get time (or atleast once in a month) I make a day (usually only just some time :P) for my self to spend with myself n pamper myslef..
I start the my pampering with , First I Take fresh cream n put 1 string of kesar in it.. N now grind it with almond n keep aside.. Now I take warm coconut oil n apply it all over my hairs n scalp.. Now when the hair is done.. I take that cream n kesar mixture n apply it all over my neck n face… N let it dry for sometime… This gives my skin natural glow n moisture, Which is best for winter.. If I have more time Them I apply the above mixture to my body n let it fry too..
For my Lips I use Pure Ghee to give them moisture..
I do what My Granny always used to say to me to use lemon skin (left over skin after removal of jiuce) on my funny bone n around the neck, where it has become dark , so it would gradually make it normal to my skin tone..
Then I concentrate on my Hands n legs, which need to be looked at, after all those runnning around my daughter.. I take half bucket of luke warm water n add salt to it N keep my legs in them for 10 mins n them I use foot file to gently smooth rough skin..
As I have a small baby I usally don’t keep long nails .. So after I have remove d all the nailpolish from hands n legs, I exfoliate my hands with a mix of 2 tsp olive oil n salt n sugar.. Then I cut my nails n keep them clean..
Then In bath tub I add rosewater n coconut milk in it for some time.N some rose petals also in the bath would be awesome.. By lisenting to my favorite songs, by closing my eyes n just relax..
After all this I take head bath n just relax for some time.. N ready for the next home chores with fully pampered , rejuvinated n relaxed..

    Thank you for the giveaway…

  37. Hi

    Thanks for the lovely giveaway!

When we say spa, we visualize candles, sweet fragrance in air, rose petals in bath tub, sweet music, and aura which is great as it gives us a WOW feeling and yet at I can’t create a spa in my home but I try to make it more relaxable and relish the peace or the calming effect it provides me…

I pamper my hair a lot and wish to have long hair so I take care of them very regularly. I usually follow a hair care regime to pamper them, first, in night I apply oil in my hair and massage the scalp so that oil should reach the scalp and roots of my hair and nourish them, after oiling my hair, I tie scarf and sleep well, in morning I apply a shampoo and conditioner and wash my hair with water and then I apply a mixture in my hair, in a bowl I take around half cup of curd and in it I add a little mustard oil and whisk in well and after washing my hair with shampoo I apply this mixture in my hair and massage it properly and then gently wash it off with water and tie around a towel in wet hair and comb them properly and taaddddaaaa hair spa is done…

Also, occasionally I also put beaten eggs or shikakai and amla, for shikakai and amla I soak these in water overnight and then in morning after washing hair with shampoo and conditioner, I put the shikakai and amla soaked water in my hair and rinse it thoroughly, I use shikkakai in summer to give coolness to scalp but it can be used in winters too like at once a week…Believe me, after using shikakai and amla hair gets soft, smoother and shikakai has a cooling effect on scalp and I feel that I am pampering my hair just like they get pampered in a hair spa 🙂

  38. My hair spa therapy at home…I oil my hair as it helps in strengthening the roots and prevents hair fall .I mix coconut and olive for this and coat my entire hair with it.Gently massage hair for 10 minutes and shampoo my hair. After shampooing the hair I comb them and then apply hair pack or hair conditioner and wash off the pack . my simple hair spa treatment is done.

  39. An excellent spa treatment if you swim in a chlorinated pool on a regular basis. Beat two eggs (three for long hair) and add in three tablespoons of olive oil. Add your favorite essential oils for fragrance (optional.) Apply a liberal amount to hair from root to tip. Wrap hair in warm towel and rest for about 30 minutes. After you rinse, you will notice the difference.

Results: shiny, smooth stronger, moisturized hair and added vitality to dull, dry hair.

Do once a month (twice for dry hair).

  40. My effective technique for hair spa at home (passed on from my grandma) is –

1.Massage your hair and scalp with warm olive oil for ten minutes. After that take a cotton cloth and soak it in warm water then wrap the cotton cloth around your hair. Allow it to stay there for minimum ten minutes.
Reason – Massaging the scalp will help stimulate blood flow, which helps feed the hair, preventing hair loss and restoring healthy hair.

2.Rinse your hair with mild shampoo using lukewarm water. Make sure that you don’t rub your hair with towel.
Reason – Rubbing can make your hair rough up the cuticle and contribute to frizziness.

3.Your hair should be just wet for the next step of hair spa treatment that is conditioning of hair. Choose natural tea and lemon hair conditioner (boil tea leaves for few minutes then let it cool down after straining it. Add lemon juice to tea water) and apply it. Use a wide toothed comb. Leave the conditioner on your hair for 10 mins.

4.Then apply hair mask to nourish your hair. You just need two eggs and six tablespoon coconut oil. Mix them both for a homogenous texture. Apply this mask on your scalp and massage gently. Then cover your hair with a cap and leave it for 15 mins. Then rinse your hair thoroughly with lukewarm water and with a suitable shampoo.

5.A very simple and handy tip for hair spa treatment is to wash your hair with water that you used to boil potatoes on the same day. It will help your hair to grow much faster.
Regular hair spa at home will make your hair shiny, soft, strong, manageable and superbly textured.

  41. I am sharing a spa secret with you that i am following as my bridal preparation now a days-
    Set up –
Just arrange soothing music , nice fragrance, a calm and serene atmosphere to relax and recreate.

Also arrange all the products in your reach so that you can enjoy at fullest without any tension.

Start with hair spa and just give your hairs a touch of warm oil. For that mix jasmine oil and almond oil and apply in roots to make hairs strong and healthy. Also the jasmine will give you a desired feel of enjoyment while relaxing. Massage in circular motion with fingertips and do it for 10-15 minutes.
After that wrap your hairs in hot towel and cap them for 10 minutes. this natural steam is far better than professional steamers which can dry your hairs. so always opt for a natural towel steam option. Wash off your hairs with shampoo and don’t forget to use a conditioner after that to give your crowning beauty a true desired beauty.

Use a Body Scrub to exfoliate, i personally love a home made ubtan for it that is a natural scrub and help to remove tanning and dead skin and smoothen the skin texture. after scrubbing i apply a tomato and lemon pack that helps in balancing my skin colour and helps to get a glowy skin.
Massage your body with oilve oil that is enrich with natural ingredients to get a perfect skin and allow your skin to fight against dryness and other issues. i stay alone in a nuclear family so i use a hand shaped massage tool to relax my body parts while massaging with it.

After a body massage, relax a little by just breathing in and out. And take a shower bath. i am liking the body wash with rose fragrance now a says that gives a true feel of a spa.

After your bathing session, take time and apply moisturizer to give your skin all of what it needs. This is the spa therapy that you can easily follow at home and get all the benefits that comes from any of those super pricey professional spa. The best part is you can be so relaxed and at peace when you do it at home. So just give it a try – Thankyou!

  42. there is lots of beauty saloons for effective hair spa..and also lots of spa products in market . bt my best way of hair spa…naaa.. u can say my mother’s best way to give me spa is , she gives me head massage every Saturday with home made mustard oil properly and says to me leave it for a day .next Sunday morning she wash my hairs with shampoo..then she apply amla ritha n sikkakai paste in my hairs and she gives me a massage for 10 min . after washing my hairs ..she takes a towel and deep it warm water mix with rose water n few drops of lemon .squeeze the towel n she covers my hairs with it for 5 min. it is really a gud spa by my maa. after marriage i miss all that things .miss u maa 🙁

  43. 1. Massage your scalp: This is the first step to start a hair treatment at home. Warn some coconut oil or olive oil. Massage your head with this. This increases blood circulation and boosts hair growth.

    2. Steam the hair: Dip a towel in warm water and squeeze the excess water out. Wrap the towel around the hair. This allows the oil to penetrate deep into the scalp. Do this for about 5-six minutes.

    3. Wash your hair: Now, wash the hair with a mild shampoo. Use only cold water as hot water is harmful to the hair roots.

    4. Apply conditioner: Post the shampooing, use a conditioner. You can also use the water of tea leaves to which a few drops of lime juice has been added. Or try a paste of grated beetroot to which hibiscus powder has been added. The hibiscus flower powder is a great base and is rich in iron and other vitamins. Rinse it off after half an hour with just warm water and no shampoo.

    5. Lastly, a hair mask In a bowl, mix two eggs, honey and some coconut oil. You can add a ripe banana to this — banana is a softener. You can also use olive oil instead of coconut oil. Leave the mask on for 20 minutes, then rinse with a mild shampoo.

  44. Spa hair done at the salon is quite expensive, if done regularly can drain bag. But you can also do hair spa at home. All you need is the right hair care products.
